may be fuel pressure limiting valve....

why do you want to increase fuel pressure?

A lot of ACERT engines are running around with lower fuel PSI than is speced. Also for some reason the ACERT engine family are more problematic with lower fuel PSI when compared to the earlier "E" models, MBN, and 6NZ even though they all use the same fuel system.

I believe the correct name is " fuel bypass regulator" it's in the secondary filter head. if you're looking to increase fuel pressure that is done in the transfer pump by shimming or changing the spring. not clear on what you are trying to do.

What about putting a adjustable regulator, or a preset regulated check valve on the return line to increase pressure in the fuel rail. Looks like its quite common in automotive, and airplanes to take the air outta the system.

If the check valve was before the filter housing basically the system would check its own pressure without having to install other types of equipment to boost the pressure

I know someone who did this. He put a fuel block with a adjustable regulator that screws into it on the return line. He won't tell me where he got it though, he just said from a hydraulic shop but I've tried them all around me and nobody has anything close to it.

You'll need to contact them for which valve you want to purchase for the pressure application, while maintaining fuel flow. You can buy a valve to raise pressure, but it reduces fuel volume going through the cylinder head.

I believe what you are talking about is the updated spring that goes in the fuel transfer pump. This updated kit is for the new style transfer pumps. I have the part number wrote down at work. I will try to remember to post it tomorrow.
