I currently run a flatbed, and all my company requires me to do for loading/unloading is to "log a reasonable amount of time"...

Only thing is, they don't know how many other drivers were there helping me :biggrin_2559::biggrin_25525: For a non-tarped load, I usually log 30 minutes, sometimes 45. For a tarped load, its between 45-75 minutes.

Now see..flatbed I can believe that..No DOT officer is gonna believe you tarped/chainedin 15 min..

    But dry van..pull up..run intoofie..check in..back into dock..it can easily b done in 15 min

I really doubt it can be done in 15 minutes.

Next time you get to the receiver/shipper, set a timer from the point you set the brake until you return to the truck and have it in the dock.

Opening the doors, backing in, setting brakes, chocking and taking the key inside sometimes.
