    What a waste of a day!:biggrin_25511:

Got up, got to the receiver 15 min early, untarped, rolled them up in the nice soft grass, put all my straps, padding and bungies away got unloaded in 3 min.

Go to the shipper guy and asked where my trailer was, he says "oh where not loading that one till friday......"

    :biggrin_25510:

Call dispatch, end up sitting there ALL DAY till about 245pm when they call me and say grab trailer XXXX. WHICH had been loaded when i got their and i had been parked behind it staring at it all day :biggrin_25510:

SO now that my whole 14 was wasted i couldnt even make it the 250 miles to Houston (were this delivers). So im at a POS little truck stop/mud whole across from the pilot at the 118 on I-45 which has NO hotwater for showers and the cashier told me and the 2 pissed off drives that came out the showers yelling that "the manager doesnt feel like cleaning the showers tonight so hes not fixing the hot water or cleaning them so no one will want to use them" :biggrin_25510:

Anyway im done whineing on to the good stuff!

While sitting all day i got to see the dumbest driver ive ever seen in my life. He pulls up to the receiveing gate stops, looks like ooops wrong place and backs out.....But does he JUST back out NOPE, does he pull in to turn around like a normal person NOPE, this is what this genious decided to do:

He backed over the curb onto the grass so he could turn around :biggrin_25526: Oh and then after going into the shipping side he came back to the receiveing side. it was were he was suposed to be.

Anyhoo heres my load, a bunch of stuff for a crane. I dont like Steel trailers with little or no winches or even worse those STUPID plates ive complained about over the wheels before. As you can see i had to do allot more work to secure this. I also had to add 3 Potable winches:

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. :yes2557:

catfish, the guy has an older tractor that he probably owns and may be paid for. what does his tractor have to do with anything that went on?

you guys are apparently the best in the business. you know everyone has a bad day.

and is there a problem with his kid being in there? mine made their first trips with me before they were a year old. but there was no rule against it, i owned it and it was my name on the door.

if you are gonna run this guy in the ground, do it for a valid reason.

maybe he was grinding the gears because he got flustered cause these perfect drivers would ran him out on a forum.

Grinding gears has nothing to do with running up onto an area they treat like a lawn. That is slob trucking. There is plenty of room there as well as that open gate on left which was wide enough unless this slob was some cherry picker. You must have crap job to come on here to piss and moan about men who choose to be proud and do a job right.:biggrin_25513:

What is your truck #?? Was at Petro in Weatherford a while ago. 3 of your trucks there in different areas. And one that was probably OO. He had real nice 4 axle KW 800. Gold colored with double drop. Didn't want to go banging on windows. :biggrin_25523:

little advice...which you may find out on your own as I have the Pro Hero2 HD...if you want super secure, absolutely no vibration or movement from the hero 2 dont use the suction unless your going for exterior shot stick one of the flat mounts to the dash at the windscreen, this worked for me alot better, oh and im guessing you got the skeleton case?, its alot better for audio and keeping your battery charged while filming for duration..I just love the camera it is amazing, and the wifi remote being released next month will make it twice as good.

Sidebar... spoke to the guy who is in your old truck, i asked him if he liked the free fridge...."the darn thing starting smoking on his first load" :)

    LOL.

big ducky, i really dont have a crap job. i am leased to mercer transportation out of louisville, ky. i own my truck and and have since 1990 , been driving since i got out of the army in 1980.

and since your reading comprehension seems to be lacking, i stated to rag the guy for a VALID reason. do not rag him out as someone did for driving a older truck or grinding a gear.

if he ran up on the grass, that could be a VALID reason.

it must be a very reassuring thing that none of these drivers rag these guys out seem to have never done anything wrong, never made a wrong turn, never went in a place the wrong entrance etc.

reread your post bigduker and reassess who is really pissing and moaning. i actually was commenting on the pissing and moaning you all do.
