I know you spent some time at Calex. You still there? Or have you come back to the good life of pulling those dangerous tanks? I've been here almost 4 years, due in no small part to the postings of that Cyanide character. I think it was a good choice for my first driving job fresh out of school.

Been a good week. Decided to run the southern route out to California. It was about 70 miles farther, but I avoided thunderstorns the first 2 days out and that winter storm that dropped some snow on Flagstaff the last 2 days.

Had an event free ride except for a bunch of rain in the Arizona dessert. That was sort of wierd but really pretty. The colors are different when they are wet.

I aired off my load Monday in Oxynard Ca at the beginning of my delivery window and was tankwashed up to Stockton. Sitting in a hotel doing a reset until Thursday when I grab a load up in Sacramento heading to Texas.

Last time they deadheaded me back. Its good to get these loaded miles on the backhaul.

Anyone know if you can park a Superior truck at a Carry facility? I live close to Carry but would much rather pull chemicals. Where I'm at now I do both. Don't mind either, I just tend to like the chemical customers better.

My guess would be yes. Probably not a hazmat trailer but a tractor should be OK. I would call the closest SPCR Terminal to you and ask them.

Wsyrob quick were do you park when delivering in oxynard. Delivering there Monday the 26. And one more thing have been to the tank wash in La.

Know it sounds like I rambling buy just registered and ready for bed. Trying to get to Phoenix early to do restart at my parents house. First time posting will start posting more.

I work out of the charlotte terminal. Been there about a year and and a half, don't know why I waited so long to start posting.

    Everyone have a good one.

Called Kankakee (closest to my house) and he said I have to park there for home time. I figured as much. Told me he'd put me to work right away if I ever move closer. Its 147 miles from my house to the yard there. That sux :( Thinking about trying for Carry maybe (36 miles from my house,) but heard a rumor they are trying to push them out for 2 weeks at a time minimum now. Any Carry drivers out of Decatur, IL on here got any inside info?

I parked in Coachella on I-10 the day before my delivery. There is a Loves, a TA and a casino right there. The casino is on indian land and you can idle the truck there. The weather was good for sleeping though so I parked at the Loves. Its about 190 miles out.

The only tank washes I have been to out here are LA Tank Wash, 4317 S Downey Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90058. and Tankerwash, 743 W Anderson St
    Stockton, CA.

This week they sent me to Stockton. Got a load today from Sacramento heading to Houston.

If they wash you out in La You will probably load resin at Ashland a couple of miles away from the tank wash. They will have you drop the trailer for a day or so while they load it. There is a Ramada hotel with truck parking that I usually head to at 7272 E Gage Ave
    Los Angeles CA 90040 (562) 806-4777.

Thanks for the info. Doing restart now in Phoenix, heading to California Sun so can deliver Mon. Right now the plan is to have me live load at Ashland Mon after noon going to Arkansas. Mon looks like it is going to be a interesting day. Will update later this week.

    Everyone have a good weekend.

Never done a live load at Ashland. It's a tight little place.
A delivery, tankwash and live load is going to eat up some driving time. If tight on hours I would ask the ashland guys if you can drop the trailer and grab the load after 10 the next morning since that's the way they normally operate. They could be real busy and don't have space though.

I ran through Phoenix this morning about 5 AM. Good day 658 miles and I still had 30 minutes of driving time left on the elog
