there was nothing wrong with the old sending unit. it looks like they just break crap to charge for new.

today they are doing the axle seals. they called and said i need drums. i said no. i don't plan on replace ANY drums till the brakes wear down. then i plan on doing a complete overhaul with all 3 axles.

3 hours later they are working on the pinion seal. now i need a new yoke.

i bet they haven't even look at the gear box seals yet. and i know they are going to call for new parts.

just put the truck together. i need the thing back so i can go to work.

i used to be an auto mechanic. and i've got to say. trucks customer service is a joke. i never raked a customer in the butt. but man, i'm getting it now. and all i wanted was an oil change and TWO minor repairs. that shouldn't have taken more then an hour for EVERYTHING. now we're going on 4 days and the price has jumped from $250 to $3000.

then what are you? your either leaseing to own or you outright own the truck with title in hand.

the word lease isn't in my contract.

i don't think there's any such thing as a lease to own in the trucking business. least not in a reality sense.

but you can call it what you want. as long as i'm yanking a tank. i'm all too happy to pay for my own repairs. except for when i get reamed in the butt like this past weekend.

i need to find a local shop. that's for sure.

i went and picked up my trips to turn in for pay.

there isn't a daarn thing wrong with the yolk. other then rust. so instead of cleaning it. let's sell a new one.
