If I disrobe, you will see a volcano with lava pouring out. Atop the volcano is a wizard with lightning striking his staff. One day, this could all be yours!

Smaggs, I drove local for about a year for a temp agency"labor ready" they are nationwide and hire local truck drivers at $15 per hr. I got called every week and got put on the schedule every Monday. I pulled for lots of companies such as Lily transport, Farmer John, Culver city meat, feed america foodbanks.....All accounts Labor ready is contracted with. I was working long side union truck drivers. Sometimes they will hire you if you Look good at your job...capeash??? The unions will hire I mean.....

Yes he is in burn out stage. Especially when the old lady and the pay checks are not making any sense. Don't be mislead by the good folks who hate to see a good driver leave the industry. Once upon a time you can get a year or 2 and it opened up the door to higher pay checks. Now companies are playing the who can bend the driver over the farthest with no lube game.

I would reevaluate the change after getting some loving from wifey/girlfriend, and a few days away from the truck. 3 yeas ago I was making 75g's now I'm barely making 50.

Trucking is a lifestyle, and all your plans you can kiss goodbye if you stay in this industry. Some of us were born with trucking in our blood. Some not so. I even quit OTR my fist year because I 2 was sick of all the Fat,Lazy, and Smelly truck drivers. Now I R one. I need a GPS to see my feet. LOL

Was fun reading your thread, and I didn't think you would make it a month. You hung in there bro. If you don't say NO they will continue to bend you over bro. So Say NO and ask for warming lube when they don't listen. Happy trails. Hope you get home soon. God bless and have a great weekend.

Smaggs, if you have no problem with gasoline (some people dont like blowing up) and you have a year of experience with that reefer, talk to DRPT, UPT, or Coastal in PHX. They are all "trainer companies" meaning you dont want to plan a career with them but they will train you and get you a year of fuel. You wont make any money with them but be patient and you can have a career in trucking without sitting around truckstops and loading docks listening to supertruckers tell you about their 150 MPH large car...

    Smaggs Thanks this.

Hey, I know you were saying that there's an orange anti-funk spray that worked great to get nasty smells out...did that work out for you longterm, or did it turn out to be just a quick fix?

Smaggs, have you looked at Roehl? They have 14/7 and 7/7 schedules that may fit your lifestyle.
