While I like some of Kevin's points, most the time I can't stand the callers. I can't even listen to half the show on the trucking channel because of this. As they just drone on, have no point in their call yet keep on going and going and going.....

Also, Kevin has a bit of an unfair advantage as well since he is working the board, can accept calls from those who he really wants to debate with and can just cut off the caller whenever he wants to.

I think I will listen in Saturday as well, and if I hear anything I disagree with, I'll be sure to drop him a line for the heck of it. But for the most part I think his show is alright.

Well i will agree to dis agree with you i drive a 07 379 pete with the fore mentioned tires and have had traction problems resulting me to throw iron more times than the year before. The tires last year were bridgestones with a rolling resistance of 110 while these that are currently on the truck have a rr of 86. I run ut, ca, or,id, and wa all the time over donner cabbage mecham the snowqual pass and bill is right they are not an all application and because of other drivers at my company complaints they are going to run the xda's from april til nov then change to a more aggressive tread for the winter. So each of us has had a different experience and i am not saying your wrong and im right just that my experience with them has been different.

I enjoy listening to the show but like most programs you have to weed out the bs and advice that doesn't pertain to your operation.

I do want to hear the explanation on the Turbo 3000d from Kevin.

I have friends that run Super Singals with low RR in the mountain west, Where traction is much more of a concern then you flat landers, and they have no problem. so i don't understand your comment. Sounds like you like to here yourself more then Kevin i guess.

I have the same problem with Trucking shows on the radio. Which is crazy cause I bleed truckin and drive friends and family crazy if they ever ask me anything about it, just love to talk about the business at any time and have a passion for what I do. But like you say, you listen to these drivers call in and it's like the same moronic crap you'll hear in any driver's lounge or t/s resturant. Like listening to finger nails on a chalkboard. So I never listen to any trucker talk radio.

And KR challenging posters to call in on his show is the biggest joke of all. What is the the point? It's no different than callers to Rush Limbaugh or ANY talk show, if they veer to close to the truth and make the host look like a fool they get cut off and/or hung up on. Does anyone really think Highside could call KR up and have a serious discussion about his concerns with Evans waterless coolant or Turbo 3000 and what problems drivers had with those products and how KR pushed them? Of course not. In a level playing field, TTR forum, KR is no-where to be found answering those questions.

It's the same story with the tires. Promoting those Michilins as a one tire that fits all operations is a joke. Because they don't. But he pushes them that way. And then in the real world tire salesman selling owners the wrong tire for their operation have to deal with angry owners because of it.
