all the tests in the world dont stop people from doing what they are gonna do till they get caught. I wonder why all those empty nip bottles are over by the fence at the truckstop i thought no drinking and driving was allowed

Piss test on day one- we still lost a guy who popped positive. I have no problem with people who smoke weed, but if you're stupid enough to continue to do it in the face of pre-employment and random screening then you're an idiot.

 

Trans am use to be a good company to work for before they started the lease crap.

So because they offer a lease they're automatically a bad company?

What about the company drivers? Or, God forbid, the happy lease guys?

I guess they don't count...

Out of all the drugs I did, pot is the only one I miss. The day I retire, is the day I learn to grow it..... for personal use, of course. lol

Im about to go to school and the school im going to work with Trans Am, Werner,Schnieder,J.B Hunt, USA. Ive been doing searches for many different companies and ive narrowed it down to Trans Am and Schnieder, and leaning towards Trans Am havent read as many bad things as other companies, what do they start new drivers usually on cpm? and out with trainer usually how long and whats the pay for that? thx everyone be safe out on the road. P.S school is being paid through me not any comapny.

 

30 cpm to start.

50.00 per day from the start of orientation, a Wednesday, until four Friday's later when you get assigned a truck. After three days in orientation you spend 3 weeks OTR with a coach and return to the yard for a final week of prep and testing.

I just started that final week.
