Worst Truck Stops For Parking

NO has no-thing for me. Couldn't care less if I never see that town again.

 

The 2 pilots in atlanta off I 285 both of them are garbage.

 

The one on the south side isn't as bad as it used to be. But the one up on the NW side....good lord, what were they thinking....or drinking when they designed that POS??

 

I had to pay $10 to park overnight in New Orleans at a crapfest.

As for the Loves in Tacoma, I've parked there three times ever. The first time I parked past the end of the fuel island. The next two were in the blindside angle spots behind the building. Never again will I ever even consider parking past the fuel pumps in that hell hole. It was never designed for 53' trailers and long sleeper cabs. Hell, was probably designed for container drivers with cabovers or day cabs.

 

I'm going to buy this huge unused lot off the interstate here in town, fence it, paint it up for nice quality parking, gate it, and charge a small fee to park. No facilities. Just parking. Lots big enough for 100 trucks easily and is already paved. Will stop allowing trucks when parking spots are full so you never have to worry about trying to get around guys who park just anywhere. I could make a very good living off that income. If I only charged $5, I'd bank 500 at a night.

 

And unfortunatly with no facilities it will smell worse than an outhouse in100 degrees. Covered with trash, fecees, and who knows what else.

 

I might put in just some restrooms or something, but no store or anything is what I meant.

 

Drivers don't use the restrooms now....

Sitting in OH yesterday afternoon, guy comes OUT of the truckstop, proceeds to his catwalk, and whizzes right there.

Sittin' next to a Carter Express truck this morning in London, OH. Rolls his window down, dumps his cig butts and a couple of tissues out. Then....yup....walks into the truckstop.

how bout johnsons corner on i-25 north of denver(exit 250 something) theres plenty of parking spots, but it seems alot of people get stuck here waiting for a load(like me right now) when i got here at 1030pm last night they were 2 separate rows of 4deep next to the scale and 2-3 deep behind truck trailers

 

thats one of the best trucks stops in the country....
