it must suck to be you. I made $46gross first year OTR, Lone star woulda paid me $70-75K for 2012 had i not just left for a local job, now i make $50k+ and im home everyday with weekends off, theres TONs of money in trucking you just have to find it

put your big boy pants on, work your butt off and save, cut back on wastful spending, and save save save. its not hard, mow your neighbors lawn who cares what you do just raise the money to go to school on your own then Call Watkins Shepard Trucking, you'll make $42k - $50k first year and be treated like family. Or call any of the other companies that hire out of your area

Hey AT i thought you left w/s then started some flatbedding....?

 

I did i was working for Lone Star till the end of March, i got a Local Line Haul job so i jumped on it. I drive 209 miles north on I-85, turn around and come back every day for $50k+ Dont get much easyer then that.

You"re a prime example of what I just stated. There is no ton of money., You dont know what money is. ANd no, it sucks to be YOU, cause you dont know what money is. Look back at what I said. You are exactly that

If any of you guys are willing to move these shipyards in Mobile AL are hiring like crazy. The state will train you for free if you qualify for the program. Some are so hard up for employees they are getting guys just out of prison. I think Austal has a 4 yr. apprentice program. Just do a search for Alabama AIDT.
