Personally I'm glad he's gone! I was the victim of his vicious attacks, now I can get back to the business of running down JBS again LOL

He's kinda like those reincarnated carriers the FMCSA lets slip through the cracks, he'll appear soon under another name, just wait until a cheerleader pops up on this forum.

Pulled my first flatbed today!..........They had me with a local driver and if there is ever an opening on that fleet I WANT IT!

They pick up a load of drywall at the USG plant down the street from the terminal, it's loaded, tarped, and strapped ALREADY! All they do is tighten the straps, bungee the tarp and then take it to the railyard and drop it off, pick up an empty and go back to USG!

The load takes less than an hour and half TOTAL and they get $30 per load! They work M-F 7am to 5pm!

Drove an old FLD with a Super 10! Trainer said I picked it up faster than most guys who have never drove one!

well I had no problem with Jack till he jumped on me for giving my opinion , then berating me about how I'm being trained then prodding me about what company i work for if anyone really wants to know who I work for I started a thread and comment on a company thread of ours I'm not embarrassed to say I work for May Trucking co. they've been really good to me I'm happy with them as for JBS I have no problems with JBS I was interested in joining JBS until I saw all the Crap going on it honestly turned me off as a perspective employee thats my two cents incase Mr. jack is reading this as a guest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tennessee driver u do realize you were one of the biggest chearleaders this thread had in the past year? It wasn't till your Texas runs that you decided Jbs was horrible. Months of cheer leading went to hell in two weeks lol.

In my honest oPinion Jbs does suck as their are more cons then pros. For a newbie though Jbs can't be any worse then your swifts werners knight trans am companies. I kick myself in the arse for not goin to conway though. I will say my training was like the 2nd infantry division, 2nd to none. I had two trainers and my luck they were the best even though there was times during my training I didn't think that lol.

Goldnugget if u really want to help newbies you should talk to them about the industry and lifestyle of being Otr. I had uncles that we're drivers and talked to several other drivers and still had no clue how difficult, stressfull, and scary this job can be lol. I'm still trying to scratch the surface in this industry but that's my opinion.

Good for you it's all about being happy in your job and to have a life like I said before life is short and you must enjoy it while you can. I have found another company I'm going to go check out, I will always tell the truth on what I find. I won't miss the cheerleader at all, a liar needs to be exposed for what they are. The thing that makes me mad is that the new drivers don't know that the drivers complaining have good reason to complain and they need to know not to listen to the cheerleaders they may be from the office or have nowhere else they can go. RIP jack :biggrin_25522::biggrin_2559::biggrin_25526:

I'm glad someone see's what I'm doing. I'll tell you the truth I started driving truck when I was 18, I worked for many good companies and life was good we made alot of money and had plenty of home time. The owners of the companies treated us like gold, they cared about us not just what we could make for us. I told you I taught at a truck driving school and saw that I was not allowed to teach them anything but to pass the test, so it's no surprised that the drivers come out without enough training not their fault its the stupid rules. I will always be out their to help the new and older as we all need help at one time or another. Yes I am a woman and have drove for almost 40 years. I have a large car (really powerfull truck for the ones that don't know what that is) and I pulled many a driver out of bar ditches, I never charge( they always try to pay) I tell them to help someone else when they can. It's a shame that the newbies are taught that every man for himself, the best days are gone but if everyone starts to help each other again it may get a little better. If your ever at a place I'm at I will be the one to watch out for you or help if needed. I won't back your truck up but I'll tell you tricks to make it easier. All trucks pull out the same way the leave's a black mark on the ground, just follow it, check other right mirror only to see if your ok but use only your left mirror to follow the line. I wish you all the best of luck even I need help sometimes I'm a driver no one is a supertrucker we will learn till the day we die.

Oh and another thing jack thought my drivers work in the oil field ( he was wrong ) my trucks do relief work like the Gulf Port and Joplin, clean- up and fresh water I only every lost 2 drivers one for more hours than he worked and the other because he didn't want a female boss. I do report my findings about companies like jbs which is the worst example I have come across.:biggrin_25522:

I hate to tell you this but May is a good starter company then they run you off about a year into it because they don't want to give you cpm and bonus's.. trust me, I worked there for 8 months and thats when the loads got slower with more time on them and NO home time.. They got me home 9, yes I said 9 days after my only brother passed away and it was bad enough that I didn't get home in time to catch a flight back to Jersey to make his funeral.. So needless to say I cleaned my truck out the minute I got back to the phoenix terminal.. May sucks ###!!! I went to work for Knight and they put May in the Oregon river where they belong.. Sorry but watch out for them running you off around a year into it.. oh yeah one more thing, Thanks for the info on JBS.. I was looking at them because of their bennies but if they don't run me how can I make money to pay for the bennies right?? So I will stick with Knight, they have good bennies tooo just a little more expensive..
