I have seen them start to advertise in truckstop magazines. That's NEVER a good sign for the driver! -
Why do you think this company has such a "STELLAR" reputation on this board and others? surely not because they chew up and spit out drivers on a regular basis? I will never say you cannot make some decent dough at CT, but they are a bottomfeeder in THEIR league, and they do not want to have long term employee's, so doing favors for them is only inviting trouble, IMO. -
like I said, at most non union shops, you donate some time. at YRC or ABF, you go on the clock immediately. you don't even get paid by the minute , you get paid down to the 1/100 of an hour. -
Don't skip your breaks, it doesnt do anything but bite you in the butt in the long run.... -
Get your app in at UPS, UPS Freight, or ABF before CT tries to ruin your record with bad equipment. I ran for an unscrupulous LTL barn a while ago, CYA, or else. these places are all about screwing people over. The place expected Buf to Albany turns with thruway doubles no matter what winter threw at us. No way to do that legally, I don't care how creative you are.
I don't care what other people say, quit before this place ruins your record. CT was union back when they were a respectable company for a reason. it was the only way to not get screwed over by them. -
New guys get locked out of terminals all the time if they don't know the procedures for that certain place. Don't look at it bad AT.
