Yay, my rescheduled appointment this morning actually isn't an appointment. It's just a "fit in", so I get to sit here until they have time to load me. Currently there are 2 trucks ahead of me and loading supposedly takes almost 3 hours :biggrin_2556:

Played local driver in Laredo this morning, then got load going to GA. Live load here in Laredo, show up, bump the dock, and the guy closes the gate.

I am like WTF? He looks are me and says, "going to lunch, be back in an hour to load you"

    what a day!!!!

Do the math on this one.

    22:00 appointment. Stop 1
23:00 appointment. Stop 2 - 36 miles from stop one. 45 mph for all but 3 of those miles. I kid you not.

Go back to stop 1. For 9:30 appointment.

    Yup, back to stop 1.

Lol, that sucks. As soon as I can leave I've got nothing to worry about... until I drop this load tomorrow. Hopefully I'm not sitting too long before my next load. Usually in the area I get loads pretty quickly but I have sat a couple days there as well.

Just finished out my best week in a while.

2936 miles paid last week. Heading home tomorrow and then taking 5 days off. Been out for 29 days now. Haven't had to take a 34 the entire time. There were a few days where I had only ran 3-4 hours but it beats sitting.

I'm 100 miles from home. By the time I deliver this load tomorrow morning I'll only have 5 hours left on my 70. Hopefully they let me Deadhead home and get out early. Need the extra time to pack.

I just spent a month driving and as soon as I get home I'm going to drive 700 miles for vacation.:biggrin_25523: I think I have an addiction.:biggrin_25523:

Walked to Uncle Charlies Pizza. eh, its no Tommy's OR Massey's but it hit the spot.

Would be nice if they put a note in for that place. Had issue with the preplan. wasnt supposed to load until tomorrow a.m. for del on thursday!!!! Sorry but S.Carolina isnt close enough to home for TAH. They would have loaded me too. It was a drop load that I wasnt allowed to deliver early? I dont get that. So in the phone call to obetz , I explain and they set me up for a new load. DBL who answered says" Oh I KNOW about that BJ's trlr # and control #" Really? Care to share that with GB?

How can a company this big with this much freight have this level of incompetence?

I aint hatin though. Was given a load to Indiana. got another 50 miles + out of it , in addition to the now going to be paid 100 miles I wasted on the pulled assignment.

The MT TA is in the pick up empty task. You just have to open it. Now the conf# is a different story. I think they change daily like a million dollar vault combo. lol....
