I subscribe to the annual play book. Well not really, I only subscribed for 3 years.

It took me that long to realize the fall back excuse every year is, freight is soft in that area.

Same excuse, even as you sit with other drivers getting loads.

Just for fun I put an application in with SNI tanker division. They called me back within about an hour. I thought dang that was almost too quick. Is that a bad sign?

Not really. The process runs pretty quick and smooth here.

They are needing bulk drivers though. It ain't as easy as some thought.

ahh, the tell em what they want to hear/ what we can get away with so we can get them off the phone play. Got it.:biggrin_25523:

At any rate , I'm now in Indy. Have about 5 hours left , so I said screw it. Why not go sit in AC out of the truck rather than idle or have the windows down hoping to catch a breeze in a pee soaked truck stop.

Asked DBL to call if he pushed a load through. we'll see if I get forgotten about twice in one day!!!!

I forgot to mention, I don't know about the van division but for tankers you have to get your TWIC card. I asked the girl if they reimbursed you for that and she said no. I was kind of bummed about that. TWIC is like $135 or around that.

Well, planned on driving close to 600 miles today. Overturned HAZMAT tanker truck on I10 in LA foiled those plans!! Miles of backed up traffic, interstate closed, slow slow detour to get around it.

Still got 450, but now instead of being 250 from my drop I am 400, and am gonna be late. Lucky me!!

I already have my hazmat. It was only $10 to take the written test. If you are talking about the background check I had to get prior to taking it, that cost me $85. Will they reimburse me fifty of that if I come work for them? If that is the case I could put it towards the TWIC card :biggrin_255:

Awwwww this sucks SO bad. :(

It's raining cats and dogs here. Got out to help one of our new drivers back in a tight hole.

My bills fell out of my rain jacket. Didn't notice it til I got back to truck about 10 minutes later.

Other beautiful day in the neighborhood.
