so it was 430am i'm seating at lowe's dock waiting for my 6am appt. then i see a big blue truck in the sub divsion behind lowe's. i all most turn in their . but then i seen the 2, signs saying NO ENTRY TO LOWE'S. Well big blue go's in 30 mins later i see he's made it around in their. i guess he had fun in their cuz instead of comming out the same way he try's to make a left. first he go's slow and i see the trailer tilt so he stop backs up and try's again...no luck 3rd time he gets a good run at it. i see the trailer all most tip over then a big blue spark...then all the lights went out and all i seen was spark shooting 20 ft in the air...few min later i could smell the transformer burning. copes got their in about 5, min fire truck took 15, they let it burn for 45 mins..guess they had to make sure the power was off...any way lowe' woudn't unload me said it was to dark. and unsafe...told them to open the door then you can see...no no we can't do anything...just come back tomorrow..now how do i get big blue to pay my down time?

I think you'll have trouble getting any company to pay your layover cause their driver knocked a pole down. But, good luck.

All lowes have forklift access to the outside . I would have tried sweet talking the store manger to let me help by tailing the pallets and them pulling with lift . Maybe bought them lunch or something . Has worked for me plenty of times . They unload outside all the time down south ....Just my 2 cents for the next time .....

Send a request to Werner who will send it to Schneider who will send it to US Express who will forward it to Starbucks who will send it to Wal-Mart who will send it to China who will send it to DC where it will be sent to The President and Barry O. himself will cut you the check.

Well, you could try sending them a demand letter for $300 as compensation for a day's wages lost plus expenses. Let them know that you'll be seeing them in small claims court if they don't pay within 30 days. They might just cut you a check to avoid the hassle, since you probably have a good case. $300 is a lot less to them than it is to you.

    dog-c Thanks this.
