Very true you are about other judges.I don't run illegal either. If a company can't keep me in good consistant miles with my HOS schedule then i'll go elsewhere.I will not fudge at all because I had to sit for hrs now I have to make up for lost time because I want to make my dispatcher happy and proud, nuts to that, they or the company isn't worth it.

    Chompi ,,

I love the water but you will never Catch me out there on them Waves !! ! haha nope no way Jose ! i will sit back and watch it on TV thats good enough for me .

Yea,, Central might be the ticket thanks for that info sounds Intriguing for Sure ! ,,,
I am going to go to a local school here in the area and pay cash for the training i just feel better about it for some reason ,, i do not like to rely on others to pay my way or pay or owe a company anything ..

the School has been around for 30-40- years and have trained many company drivers for a large group of Industries around the Country or so it says on there Web page, also i hear the students get to drive the trucks for about 3 weeks of the 4 week course so the behind the wheel time is Great !! .

thank you man ! ! this is good to stuff inside info !! :Road:

    Pattyj ,,

That's how i see it also, i am not Running to kiss anyone's behind ,,,, its all part of trucking and they know the ups and downs to the operation, sh -t happens out there.

Plus ,, it dose not add up in the long run,,, like the old saying go's 250 ada boys!!! and one O,, Sh_t !!! ! ! Blows it . :biggrin_25513:

Although having said that in the event i was running behind i would do my best to get there sooner then later maybe a few less breaks, but to jeopardize your CDL or Risk the chance of a long term Infraction on your Driving record is just Stupidity ,,,,,,, :Police car:

    "THE DAC REPORT"
Many professional CDL drivers have fallen prey to the infamous DAC report.
The DAC report is to the professional truck driver as the credit report is to the
consumer. This report is a detailed summary of a driver's work history and
contains information such as reasons for leaving the job, number of accidents,
type of truck and trailer operated, type of driving, if they are eligible for rehire
and much more. It also contains the driver's social security number, D/L
number, if they applied for worker's compensation, and any criminal reports.
Even though the agency is regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, it is widely
known by drivers that trucking companies abuse this tool by reporting unfair
and unjust information about their drivers. Once an item has been placed on
your DAC report, it almost takes an act of Congress to have it removed. In
fact, it is nearly impossible. :Compass v2:

    Hey I-80

Since you and I are sort of in the same boat, I would recommend you learn a bit about investing (both for retirement and other) so that money works for you and doesn't just sit in an account somewhere.

I'm not one to offer financial advice since I'm no expert but do some research and talk with some folks. I am getting 11% on my IRA and will be investing a good portion of my savings that I get from being on the road. If you make that money work for you, you will be able to reach your financial goals sooner.

I was about to ask whether it would be indecent of me to ask if any drivers here took up driving as an escape hatch from marriage, but then it occurred to me that this would be a silly time to start caring whether anything was decent.
