Traveler51 ,., I know what you mean i have herd many stories about rentals being nightmares ,, but i think the Key is

1 Having a Property Management handle the renters .

2 Be sure and put into the Lease all the right Checks and balances ,

3 The Tenants will keep up the yard care and upkeep of the house .

4 any Appliances that brake down or need repair are not to be replaced or repaired by owner .

5 The rental Company drives by often and dose a walk thru every 3 months .

6 Deposits and last months rent .

7 Credit check .

just to name a few ,,,

Before the rental Company Rents my home they call me with all the info ,, Credit Check, where they work how long have they worked there how much is there Gross Pay , where did they rent from last what dose the last owner say about them , so on and so fourth .

I do not rent to shady or none working people or if they have a bad reference from the last property .

so far i have be lucky and all the renters come and go as they should .

Having Professionals handle the rental i think is well worth the 60.00 a month they charge me .

I cant wait to get out there on the road and get this new Life Popin ! ! ! as my son likes to say LOL .....

Thanks for that Tip !!! but the good news is i already have my TA card yup yup got it 2 years ago so yea ,,, glad i did that ..

I was going to look for a job at the OIL Refinery and they Require a TA card so Lucky me ! !!

And i Guess i better put it inside or get a Huge chain and Lock to lock it up or maybe hook a power cable to it hmm just a thought ,,,

I just watched a video on youtube the other night and the Host was explaining the Bonus Cards from the Truck Stops,, thank you so much for that Tip ! i will be sure to get all of them and use them to my advantage .

Truck Drivers are so much more then what you see on the highways ,, I mean its amazing to me to learn what all of you are and have been doing as a truck driver's .
