I was trying to remember that website address. I hear their commercial all the time on the Patriot channel.

Merely taking a radio out of the dash to plug some thing into the antenna DOES NOT destroy a radio or a dash. They are made to be removed with the right tools. If it was me there would be no asking. Just doing. As long as nothing is destroyed what are they going to say?

This is an older truck. There is no such plug.

Taking the radio out and putting it back in may not damage anything but yet it may. I'm not familiar with truck radios - have only done such a thing in a car and some are the devil to get out and sometimes plastic gets broken doing so. Mike is NOT mechanically inclined so basically we're not taking out the radio - it's just not worth the risk. We're still new to this place and don't want to tick anyone off by messing with the truck too much.

Thanks though :) I appreciate the comments. :)

As I said way back when, or thought I did, I DID call Sirius. They have NO CLUE what's wrong and could NOT help me!! They were baffled and didn't have a clue.

I'm just going to chuck my Sirius and forget it. It's just not worth all this hassle.

Are you gunna call the shop when a head light goes out on your truck.
One of you needs to get mechanically inclined quickly if you dont wanna be a pain in your shops ###.
go ahead chuck it to a driver who doesnt give up so easy.

I've never had problems with my Sirius (XACT model, 2006), but then again, it has frequency power that I can pick it up with my desk radio at work, about 100 yards away and 40 feet high.

Excuse me, but I DON'T give up easily. I worked with this thing for HOURS!!

No, I will NOT call the shop when a headlight goes out, I will fix it myself.

I am VERY mechanically inclined but I can't fix something that doesn't work in the first place.

Please stop assuming you have a clue about me.
