If you run National the following is the hometime plan:

    Out Home
10 2 <-- this isn't usually done when you can stay out 11 and get 3.
    11 3
    18 4
    24 5
    30 6
    36 7

I usually run 11 or 12 and am home for 3. I leave on a Tuesday and get back home Friday a week later for the weekend and then leave again on Tuesday. Sometimes my rotation gets screwed up, but that's usually how I run.

    JBMN Thanks this.

I preface this question by saying that I have read all 75 pages of this thread and saw the subject only briefly mentioned. So, here goes.....

Tolls, scales, lumpers and whatnot....... do you have to pay that stuff out of your own pocket and then be reimbursed? Do you not have a prepass and a Comdata card?

    Thanks....

Prepass, yes. (that's for roadside scales), EZpass yes, any tolls that don't take ezpass would have to be paid and
    reimbursed. Comdata, yes.

Scaling your truck at a truck stop would be out of pocket then reimbursed.

Lumpers are paid with a comcheck I think. Don't have lumpers on flatbed.

Maybe, but then you'd have to go to Mexico. Definitely not a good plan!

    ok, next question........
The web site says that they will pay tuition reimbursement, but as I understand, only to the school you went to.
What if you paid out of pocket?

    Thanks

Since that's what I did, pretty much every 9k-10k paid miles you get a bonus for $100, which taxes are taken out of, and they just seem to keep going till they've paid, I think three or four thousand dollars. I still randomly get them.

and, you pay $1/ week for your prepass, which takes care of most toll roads we travel, and weigh stations that smile upon us. You can elect to not pay for the prepass, and you're going to be paying tolls out of pocket, and then filing for reimbursement. which is what you do with CAT Scales, and the like. comdata card for fuel and comchecks, which you use for lumpers and noteworthy Roehl-expenses OTR.
