I was born to drive. I been driving since I was 21. I was just giving you a heads up. You will probably go through most of these within 6 weeks. Now the divorce and remarriage part may take a few years but the rest is part of the trucking experience.
What is the most important piece of advice you would give?

How can being smelly be a choice when you run out of hours and have to park in a rest area? Or you sitting at a customer for over 12 hours Or you can't get in a shower because parking lot is full and you don't want to pay 11 dollars at the place that does have parking. Or your trainer doesn't want to stop for 3 days because you on a hot load. Face it bro. You are going to be smelly, and probably have a smelly trainer. You will get use to it. lol

Be patient, polite, considerate, alert, safe, courteous, flexible, law abiding and never be in a hurry. Good luck out there and enjoy the ride!

First off he asked about new truckers. New truckers are under the trainers power. So he has no say so. So as I said if you like taking showers everyday and you a germaphobe trucking is not for you. Get you some tough acting tinactin as well.
