    They would have paid us the cost of the bus ticket if we'd been actually able to drive JCW up there. (Old Blue had other ideas, and split her timing belt 11 miles from home as I set off for Springfield to pick him up.) Marsha got on the phone and had him a bus ticket in like 10 minutes.

    Yea, its much better... I avoid Pilot/fj and usually go to Mcdonalds or dunkin donuts - much better!

    Dropped the load this morning in North little rock, hot springs, ar and broken arrow, ok - three stops, took a nice cold shower and going to hit up the casinos around Tulsa.

    Picking up in Stillwater tomorrow a.m. and going to Topeka - nice short, relaxing run to start this week off after a pretty long and busy week.

    Dropped the Topeka load (Goodyear) yesterday, picked up another there going to KY - tires for recycling about 37k.

    Dropped that in KY today, that was fun...not. I decided to help those guys unload the full trailer of tires in 102F weather....mistake!

    Got another load from KY to Kansas city - heavy 44100lbs - was suppose to pickup tomorrow morning but I called and they said they can load me tonight but I'll be out of hours to run so first thing in a.m. I'll leave for KC.

    Slower week... I'm glad! After running over 3660 miles last week, a slower week is nice.

    How did you like Marion? I have done that load once and I hate going there. Seen a guy go in there and come out with 2 flat tires.
