I don't see what the big deal is here. Just like the Boyd Bros thread, there is a lot of cb talk going on in this thread with absolutely no evidence to back it up. With all of the tracking technology out there, why the big concern about whether PrePass puts a time stamp when you bypass? If you're running legal, there's nothing to worry about.

You have a cell phone? You've got electronic tags associated with where you are. You're posting here? There's a record of your internet connection, where and when it occured. No prepass or electronic logging? Expect heightened scrutiny at the coops.

There's a GPS transponder integrated into EVERY cell phone, and they can triangulate your location based on the cell towers and signal strength. That information is recorded and saved by the cell providers. Your internet connection details are maintained on the servers of your providers, which also includes details of where and when you connected. The coops already pretty much send the guys on electronic logging down the road with zero questions... they know for the most part they can't argue with us - which leaves more quality time for the guys on paper logs. Lucky them.

Might be a good idea to get technologically informed... bull hockey back atcha.

When was the last time you went into the scale and they pulled you in and requested to see your phone and the records for it?

Did they also request your user name for the internet and the data trail?

    d o g Thanks this.

It won't get looked at there, although MO was demanding cell phones last year. However, in regards to post no. 36 (missed it?) if you plow into a school bus, then all of that is fair game... no matter how much one hides their receipts under paper logs.

Well aware of that. But you are very misleading in your posts about it.

If you do not have an accident, they will not be looking at it.

Who's misleading anyone? The last 20 minutes or so of conversation was all based on post no. 36 - based on what happens post accident. You hopped into the middle of it.
