Unless you had pulled a fuel sample from each location you fueled at, how can you make the assumption?

well, the weekend that princess di got killed,i fueled at a mobile fuelstop in el centro ca.i got to the az border before all heck broke loose.guy at the volvo shop took of my fuel filter, and pretty much just water came out.burned out my fuel pump, injectors, everything.turns out it was a special made fuel pump that they couldn't find anywhere.so they shipped it ups from yuma to phoenix cummins to be rebuilt, and ups lost it.it took 10 days before they found it in milwaukee.all told i spent about 3 weeks in wonderfull yuma az.with the amount of water i found,i didn't need to pull a sample.i was talking about it at the service counter when another driver behind me asked where i got the fuel.i told him el centro.he asked if it was the mobile station.i said yes.he asked if i saw anyone else fueling at any of the other pumps,i said no.he said he didn't think i would because the local drivers all know about that place.lesson learned.

Don't need a sample, the fuel looks watered down. Diesel is greenish, this stuff coming from the nozzle was white.

White might mean entrained air. Should clear up within a few minutes of pumping.
