I havent heard back from him. It doesnt surprise me. As long as come Thursday Im heading towards home, I have no problem. Actually I have no problem being out, just ask me and give me the choice. If Im gonna be out.3 weeks at a time, Im gonna drive a big condo truck and pull a van.

Well time for another update. I still havent heard anything about the home time issue.
The a/c blower fan in my truck has died, which means no a/c. So I send in the breakdown macro, my fm, same guy as always, tries to dispatch me to Tennessee, then a load to South Carolina, then to Gaston terminal. I put my foot down and said NO!! Fix my a/c and I will gladly do the loads. But not without a/c. It would be Tennessee on Wednesday, then bounce and head to South Carolina on Thursday, then to shop on Friday, which means no home time again. I say nope, not gonna happen. I will quit before I do any of that. What part of do the right thing is so hard for some people to understand???

Im sitting at the Petro in Atlanta. Im out of hours for the day, so I cant move even if I wanted/had to. Im still waiting to hear for sure on the truck issue, however I truely believe that they will have it fixed locally. But I stand here with my foot down, Im not moving that truck anywhere, except a repair shop, until its fixed. I live close enough to Atlanta that I can go home and wait it out if I have to. I dont think it will come to that, but you never can tell.

tell your fm to go work out in his car without the ac on and get out that AC office, that truck is your home/office the ac needs to work with this heat we have now. I bet if the ac went out in the office were they all work a repair man would be right out, hell even if the ac went at the training classroom a repair man would be right out or students would go back to hotel. how are you staying cool while you wait on his sorry butt to send you for repair.

I usually dont read threads on "New" adventures but for some reason I like your no quit attitude. With that said, If you REALLY believe that TMC gives a hoot about your A/C or your hometime issues then brother you are dead wrong!! Trust me; I did the whole "Fix it now or I quit" well they fixed it then brought me to the terminal and fired me(Not TMC). I still have to answer for that on every job APP I put in. Just a little advice man, best thing to do is find a new company BEFORE you hurt someones feelings in the office and get fired; then you'll be in my boat having to answer for it 9 years later even though your record is spotless.....The ONLY thing TMC cares about is moving freight

The a/c in my sleeper still works. Its the blower for up front. Also, the blower is part of the defrost system, which is required.as part lf our pre trip inspection. Its a safety item I believe. With the front blower turned off, you cant feel the bunk air up front at all.

Mine went out last week. It is a DOT Violation if you get caught without a front blower. And you hit the nail on the head it is because it is part of the defrost system. When mine went out road repair sent me to the nearest pete dealer and had it since I was in and out in 2 hours

As long as a/c in bunk works, thats the main thing right now,it will trickle up front, just idle when tarping.Wait til winter;which im sure it will be fixed by then;and request an inspection at a scale.

Dont ever think youll put a company over a barrel and get what you want.Unless youre sleeping with the boss, you will lose.Ive seen it happen a few times, even with higher-ups.Pretty #### funny when theyre asked to clean out theyre office.
    .....You are expendable!!!!!!!!!
