People seem to think once they touch the elog they will get some kind of violation. Some seem to think once they start the clock it runs continuously all week. Some seem to think if it violates them that the government is going to dispatch the airforce after them.

Still no one has explained this.... If you truly run legal as you claim, you won't notice the slightest difference. So why are you making a stand against it?

better turn that mirror on yourself, and your rude putting down the younger and different people. Actual you don't know more than me about current trucking. I drove a 3X6 on the ranch, as a teenager. But that is NOT today's climate, equipment, or laws. Today is what is important, and what changes are coming tomorrow.

Yet you came into this thread to argue.

Just because you have been doing a job longer, does not mean you know how to do the job correctly, efficiently, and legally. Change is the only constant in the universe, and humans naturally resist change, and cling to what they know, and will believe any lie, distortion to justify their resistance to change.

Rates are not going to go up.. you are going to have to run that truck 24/7 and keep running.. The rates are not going to go up.. In fact they will continue to fall. It is a sad reality but it is what is happening.

They are fighting it the same reason I fought it.. it is my #### truck and I will do what I want, but I had to conform and now it doesn't bother me. You just have to make sure you throw the responsibilty back on the company.. If I can't make and appointment I let them know... I have yet to lose any revenue with elogs.. I run legally now do I like elogs.. Not really.... I can't sleep sometimes.. I don't like having to stop 45 minutes earlier to find a parking spot.. but I do.. it hasn't cost me money yet.

You can find the links to many reports on the left side. The one posted was the truck rate report.

    http://search.ams.usda.gov/mnsearch/MNSearchResults.aspx

That takes you to all of the reports of that particular truck rate report.

I'm not quite sure where you get that text based only one though. The only ones I find are PDF.

and .....30 pages later...we will all still have the same ideas and opinions.....lol

new drivers put down the older

older get tired of the smart ##### newbie know it alls tellin us we dont know to run legal, etc etc

and the world continues to turn, the sun continues to rise and set...

we all put our pants on one leg at a time....if we all thought the same acted the same, how boring would that be??people get so bent out of shape when someone disagrees with them and feel the need to be ugly and prove themselves superior....

its alright to diagree and have different ideas...you know the ol saying, "different strokes, for different folks"...
