That must be an isolated case. The people I get calls from tell me I can pay you $2.0/mile to go to NY out of Houston TX
CH Robinson guy out of Houston area.

I have been in business for over two years and have been around many other fields. I have yet to find a single person or Broker, who is honest and has some kind of class.
I don't know wheather it is because my phone has been redirecting to some kind of Houchee Man or what, but honestly not a single broker. I have hauled many loads for Freight Quote.com, but they are very unthankfull. But they have charged me for damaging their own freight by shoving it too tight at their Southampton PA wharehouse where they combine partials to TX.
I have hauled a load for them to Great Falls MT for $3800 loaded miles 2350 from Woodbridge VA the Receiver literally hamered the top of the wooded boxes ( you could smell the fresh wood) and thretened me that they might make a claim ( Luckley I had taken video clips of the all worn out boxes at the time of loading) High Line Movers in Great Falls MT. They should be asshamed of themself calling High line in stead of low line.

I used to have cameras in my dry van and would record every second that I was under load, including dock time. That helped in cases like that. I'm looking for weatherproof cams to install into my reefers for the same purpose.

Add this to your list: Ellison Logistics, "Run, Run, and Run", when you see this broker on the loading board don't bother to call them. They gave us a pick-up time and when we arrived the shipper said, "I don't know why they keep sending trucks;I don't pay no detention; Just hang tight and we'll get you load here shortly." So, we called Ellison Logistics and informed them of what was told to us, she stated," We start detention after the first four hours", not to mention this is stated on the contract, so we stuck in a bad situation and really need the load. Twelve hours later the shipper said, "we're ready, so we got loaded and called the broker and she said, just make sure your time in and out is signed by the shipper. Okay we made sure we had signatures and time in and out. Guess what? I sent in the invoice for payment and she said we don't pay detention. And to top it off, the unload time lasted 7 hours. We almost lost our second load with another company. Like I said run when you see Ellison Logistics.

Logistics Plus has listed this load from W Lafayette IN to Erie PA for almost 500 miles and one extra stop. Contract rate shows $2.59/ mile and extra stop in that area is not worth unless at least $200 . Total load is at least worth $1430 in todays market. There are about 600 alarms in about one hour. and about 1800 loads in the area with ratio of 4.5 loads / Truck . You make the call about the fairness of this broker.

By the way does any one knows at least ONE good broker. I can understand I have a phone interception problem by some kind of hoochee man gang and it is not possible to get any sensible person out of them.

Daaammmit... Are you pulling a van or reefer? I wonder if they have you tagged as a cheap truck or something? I doubt it if you've been looking for $3 loads.
