I've been driving for 19 yrs.I've been driving for the past 2 yrs at Tyson Foods.I'm far from a steering wheel holder. Most people that whine about E Logs don't know all the facts&have never used them. Our system has a personal conveyance duty status. If you run out of hours at a shipper or a reciever, you have 20 miles to find a safe haven. If your in the sleeper berth, you'll have to do a split break. If you have a good dispatcer, you can still get miles.I can run 3,000 miles a week with no problems. If I have a time issue with a delivery or a pick up due to hours,my dispatcher handles that as long I give him time to handle the situation.I'm far from perfect myself because I've "hustled" plenty of log books back in the day.ELogs aren't perfect but if you keep the left door closed, you can make money with a good company that has good freight&good dispatchers.
