U really do not want to go to work for PRIME...

From what she posted back in April, they LEASED a truck. Not the same as what she posted here. At least from what I could get out of her post. They apparently also didnt listen to the advice of IP. Same reason I DONT lease. I dont know enough yet. Difference is, I KNOW I dont know enough. Plus I dont want to give up my FM.

I swear everyone always bashes lease purchase programs, sure most places are a bad deal, but there are a few that actually succeed.

Sounds like the op's husband didn't know what he was doing. I've met two guys who work for prime that do the lease purchase and didn't have one bad thing to say about it. Sure not everyone's as lucky, but not everyone fails in a lease purchase either.

I had a hard time reading those couple sentences... What?? Huh?? It's kind of funny how many wives come on here and say things about companies (not just prime but pretty much all) and they have no first hand experience and often make up things. (and you never hear anything after the first post).

What a great bunch of people! This woman makes a post, and all you can all do is point out her "Fractured Sentence"?

You people ever think maybe English isn't her first language, or if she is foreign, maybe not her 2nd or 3rd either. I am married to a woman who speaks 5 different languages fluently, but her English is just a bit off once in a while. So people make fun of her grammar, instead of responding to the message.

Just remember, this woman is a fellow trucker's wife. Her husband fell for all the lies and tactics of Prime, which makes him no worse than the tens of thousands who do the same thing. To beat up on her grammar is a bit of a cheap shot.

That being said, it is sad to try to blame someone who falls for the immoral practices of Prime. They are scum sucking snakes, plain and simple. If you know anyone who is happy working for them, then they are fools, plain and simple. Instead of making anyone in that category feel foolish, I try to offer information that might help them see there are better things out there.

This website is supposed to be for truckers helping other truckers, not beating up on someone's wife. I have checked out this lady's posts elsewhere, and she is no troll. She is just like so many other truckers' wives out here, amazed at how hard their husbands have to work for so little. Then she commits the unspeakable crime of trying to share her experience with others, to maybe save someone else the trouble? I guess that is all it takes for the tough guys out here to slam her.

 

Thanks Truck-N-Tech for saying what I was thinking while reading this thread. I can probably find 500 posts on this site talking about how bad lease purchases are. And 375 of those would mention Prime by name.
Then someone comes on here and proves what you've been saying about a lease putting drivers in the poor house; and you rip her to shreds! Attacking his business skills, their previous debt, and even her grammar. Yet the company who has been sued hundreds of times over their leases remains blameless in this thread.
Other than Tech, I guess the above answers are from Prime drivers or shills.
