It's usually 7-10 days out for couple days off. I personally stay out a bit longer, 2-3 weeks at least and might take 2-4 days off or whatever I feel like.
I also have army and other friends all over so I might do a 34hr somewhere other than home. Also, I have a couple of fishing rods in the truck with me if I find myself in need of taking a day off and doing some of that.
It also depends where you live, you might not need to take time off. If you live in a major city, or along i70 for example, you might spend the night at home with the load, sometimes 2-3x a week.
Schneider to ACT - yes, another ACT thread :)

Well, got a few load offerings on Tuesday for Wed. pickup and Fri. morning delivery. Picked Ottawa, IL to Dallas area with 4 stops.
Made it to Oklahoma last night, and only have a few hours to drive today. -

Goooooood Morning Dallas!
Well, my day/night started off at 0030 with a shower and nice cup of coffee.
Did one unload at 0200 in Dallas, now I'm almost done with my 0400 in Irving. Have to wait till 0700 for next one since they have a noise ordnance in Euless and my final is at 0930 in Waxahatchie.
So looks like I'll be grabbing some bfast in about the next 30 mins since I have nothing else to do and I'm not going back to sleep. Maybe I'll give the Xbox an hour of my time. -
Things are hopping in Dallas tonite..Dropped early and was told will have preplan in the am, so I went by the Flying J at exit 472. There was no parking, but I got to see a hooker, a guy getting bracelets pu on by the cops and 2 guys riding horses right in the middle of Bonnie View LOL.
Don't get a whole lot better than that lol.
