Exactly! Everything will be cheaper at the truck show and I don't mind waiting.

 

Had a 38hr break in Fond du loc WI, a little bit of fishing, games and Wisconsin cheddar beer brats on the grill.

Picked up in Appleton, WI going to Oklahoma City.

 

Unloaded at the Hobby Lobby in OKC, OK. Got a preplan (yesterday) to pickup in Lawton, OK going to KC, KS.


Load isn't ready yet, so I stopped for bfast at Jimmy's Egg just west of OKC. Really good bfast and something different/better than Denny's/Waffle house.

 

Dinner at The Smokey Pokey...mmmmhhhhh finger lickin BBQ goodness.

 

Delivered late last night to GM in KC... Went to bed pretty late and decided to sleep in. Taking the weekend off and going to leave Sunday with a 3 stop load for Monday around Springfield, IL.

 

It's 4am and I'm not sure I'm awake yet...

I just watched a driver pull up from a dock door where he was sleeping to open his trailer doors.

1. Pulled up, opened the right side door, can't open the left side because there's a yellow pole there. Get in the truck and pull up. 3:49am
2. Pulled up more, got out and still can't open - wouldn't you pull up more just to be sure and not try to inch it since there's people waiting for that dock. 3:54am
3. Pulled up more and still can't open. 3:58am
4. Backed in since he couldn't pull up more straight and turned and pulled out to the left. Still can't open the one door. 4:02am
5. Pulled out more to the left and finally (barely) opened it. 4:06am

Thank you for wasting everyone's time there driver, but at the same time it was pretty entertaining. I just can't believe that really happened.


I picked up in Ottawa, IL yesterday delivering to couple stops around KC, MO. Picking up later today north of KC and going to the DFW area for tomorrow morning.

Picked up yesterday just north of KC at McCormick Distillery and delivered this morning to Grand Prairie TX.

Picking up in Carrollton, TX and going to Lenexa, KS for delivery tomorrow.


Another pretty slow week... Great American Truck Show in Dallas next weekend.
