Ive heard of a couple different ppl getting put into the pro stars. From what I hear is they get better fuel mileage than the freight liners and petes which is why they are becoming quite popular on the road. But then again this is just some loose jaws I'm hearing this from. May, and most likely be nonsense lol. I've only been inside one prostate and that was at upgrade. I didn't notice if it was the bigger or smaller one. I'd like to see them side by side and get to compare them. Are the big ones as cramped on space as everyone makes them out to be? I don't think it would bother me much but I don't have half the stuff other drivers do. Just some clothes a sleeping bag and pillow and a cooler and a lap top. And my rand McNally! Lol

On a good note we got a 34 hr in salt lake city and got a repower out of Wyoming with 5 stops headed to NJ for a final destination. 2200 mile load. Hoping all these stops don't hold us up for to long or these 2300 miles won't be worth it. First stop is in about 3 hours here in Indiana with the second one in OH around noon I believe. Hopefully it will all go smooth. And can anyone ssay home time??? Dying for next Thursday to get here! My bed and dog are calling my name! O and the wife too :p

    Hey Wedge!

Just catching up here and I am hoping that you are headed home or home by now as you said you were going Wednesday. I hope you enjoy your time with your family AND find out what your dog looks like again!:biggrin_25517:

Seems that ''Christine'' is still acting up? from crickets to dive bomb birds and wipers that self wipe?

Was on vacation last week and JUST catching up here on TTR!

Always hard to get back into the swing of things after time off- as you well know and you have so much to do at home too!

Stay safe and have a great home time and don't forget your pills!!!!!:)

FYI my Cascadia wipes some times at start up.
Might be after using them prior or if wipers left
    in inter mode.

USX has bought Prostars with mid-roofs, raised-roofs and condos in the past. I'm not sure what's in the new batch. Craig may have more knowledge on that.

If you make it known you're going to have a passenger, they may seat you in a condo.

    Hey Sammycat,

I was wondering where you were.

No, I'm still out here. My re-power decided to run their load in to GA, so I had to make the delivery to Pittston, PA myself. I'm not thrilled at the moment.

My FM didn't assign the load that brought me up to PA. She was off that day. When she came in yesterday, and realized I was now 900 miles away from home, she was upset. I had to cancel my doc appoints for today and, to make matters worse, all my kids flew in yesterday for their annual visit. If I miss them, I'm going to be expressing my discontent to the high command.

I do have a run that picks up nearby in Tunkhannock, PA (D&H) and delivers in Upper Marlboro, MD, but that's just a drop in the bucket. I need something with some distance attached so I can get south in a hurry.

Needless to say, I'll be late getting home.

I hope you had a great vacation. Give Dave my best.

We were offered 150 each to stay out another week and be a week late for our hometime. Had a great week coming off hometime. A short week and still made 5000 miles. And I got a 34 in as well. All loads were repowers!

The 2013 I looked at was a condo.

I really don't think they're much smaller than the Cascadias, if at all.

They appear to have enough storage space, they're just set up a little differently, like the heat/ac box for the sleeper is under the bed so you have a little less space under there, but I think that leaves you a little more cabinet space. They also have small cubbys around the back and cup holders in the sleeper that the Cascadias don't. I think the space between the upper bunk and the roof may be a little shorter though and it might be a tight sqeeze to get a refrigerator/freezer combo up there.

I'm thinking these are for the reefer division though because they have load lock racks on the back and cat walks for servicing the reefer unit.

    awwwwww Wedge that just bites!!

I know that when the kids plan to visit it is not just an 'easy' drive and they plan ahead! As you do!
I hope they can get you home soon!

    GOOD! about your meds!:yes2557:

LOL sorry the nurse in me.............

    Dave says hello too.
Did I tell you he applied to college and got his acceptance letter yesterday!!
Hopefully ( you know how things take time.....) he can register for the class he wants as he would start in 2 weeks and only 2 evening classes left......argh! He needs one more letter from the college to activate his on line acct so he can register for the class!

    Stay safe!
