Why is it all these drivers that want to come (Alberta)here and better themselves expect us to pay for a place for them to live????

Can't figure that out also. I always thought that's what I get paid for, so I could pay MY bills. Can understand a remote area but in a major city. Come on people lets use a couple brain cells once in a while.

A couple guys at my work refuse to get an apartment so they just hang around the office lounge and idle their trucks...one guy stuck around right trough breakup, his life must be hell at home...

We have guys that are too lazy to wash the 2012 iron they're driving and it's not busy. They expect a shophand to do it for them.

It's because they come on forums like this and hear one guy say that he's heard that companys pay to fly guys back and forth, another guy says that he that drivers make $50/hr, another guy says that he gets free room & board (camp job) another guy says that he has a swamper and never has to get out of the truck, another guy says that the company he works for is crying for drivers, then being totally oblivious to the fact that these are ALL different jobs with different skill levels and different circumstances, tells his friends that he's going to go get his CDL, and the oil field service companies will be lining up to fly him out here, buy him a 4000sq/ft house, pay him $50/hr to drive a truck and his coveralls will never get dirty because he never has to get out of the cab. Oh, and they will fly him home every 2 weeks to kiss his wife.

    Hello,

I would like to submit my resume, I am working the rest of the week so I can not get into the Registry to get my CDA. So my question is should I just submit my resume now and CDA later? (Living near Edmonton already so don't need a house) lol!

    Thanks

It isn't for the lot lizard, it's for the Costco pharmacy visit you will need to make after.
