It's important that you spell well when communicating with a prospective employer.
It reveals to them that you're not very detail oriented, or don't even care enough to spel rite.

 

Then make sure you get spell check.
If I don't have spell check I'm to embarrassed to write anything due to my complete lack of ability.

 

You have to be able to communicate in writing with dispatchers, managers and customers.
I would recommend you find a tutor willing to work with you on spelling and phonics.
There is no time like now to begin. It probably won't take you long to get much better, by then your record will be clear.
You're spelling is a red flag that you might have other problems, understanding direction, calculating loads, etc.
I'm sorry it's not fair, but that's the employer's view.
