Original home-time was set for 8-8 (pm) thru 8-12, roll on 8-13. Didn't get home until Saturday 8-11 (pm). Reset my PTA for today 0900, but truck never got worked on.

So now I'm staring at the weekend, and I want to leave before that, but I'm having my doubts. Picked up an exhaust leak, and it's getting in the cab which is not good. And, the regen system is affected somehow. I can't idle for more than 6 hours without performing a parked regen.

This pre-dates Christine. I've suspected the exhaust leak for a couple of months. I've been getting sleepy behind the wheel. That's never happened before. Once I stopped idling the truck at night (nothing like waking up in a pool of sweat), and started running with the recirc-mode enabled during the day, all my congestion cleared up. So they're tracking down the problem.

Glad I run a CPAP. Filters out all the bad stuff.

Sounds like that truck of yours is slowly trying to poison you. If they can't find that exhaust leak you might have to drive with your cpap machine too. Hopefully they get the truck sorted out and you back on the road.

Spoke to the equipment manager today. He basically said I could only get a 2011 anything but he "doesn't have anything available right now". What a load of BS!
This is what I was told about the pay-- 0-600 miles = .26 mile, 601-900 miles = .24 mile, 901-up miles = .20 mile. Seems awfully low to me, but I'm stuck with it for now.

I know you'll get the truck thing sorted out. Try to be patient.

The cpm's you are listing here are news to me. I've never heard of a solo driver being paid like that.

    Something's not right.

Are the eight weeks you were supposed to be teaming (originally) up? It may be reduced pay during that time like the reduced team pay for wight weeks also. Seems like it should have up by now.

This is what they are paying you to run Solo??? That is BS. I was getting .32 on a that stupid sliding scale. What they are paying you is ridiculous.

It has to be an issue with her driver status as Craig pointed out. That's not what solo drivers are being paid.

How do you all deal with the Heat? Do you have and APU? Do new drivers get and APU on their trucks? Without that i think it would be pretty misearble:(

I have a clean idle truck and idle every
Night all night all summer long. If it's below
70 outside I have a fan and vents to keep
    It comfortable.
