Not an employee but I have to deal with these people on a daily basis. I deliver food and the drivers are some of the rudest most inconsiderate people I have met. I am fortunate if I get a dollar...I said IF... :biggrin_25510:

Ahh, poor pizza boy got stiffed on the tips. Suck it up, tips aren't required, you are getting paid to deliver aren't you?

I had seven years as a food service manager before becoming a truck driver, I fired people for complaining about tips in front of customers.

Good thing I don't work for you then...I guess YOU don't pay for your own gas do you...no you get a freakin company gas card...kinda sucks when I have to pay 1/4th of my weekly paycheck to put gas in my car because you are too darn cheap to tip people doing a service for you...

Sounds like you need to find another line of work.

Attitude equates to amount of tip. Sounds like you've got a chip on your shoulder. I hope you deliver my next pizza...at least I'll save two bucks.

Yeah well why don't you try making ends meet on an average of 275 bucks a week for the last 2 years...And then getting screwed because people are too cheap to tip

I have seen forums where pizza guys ##### about tips going down since places started charging for delivery. Apparently they don't give the driver the delivery charge which is ########. But the drivers need to take that up with their company. The company is stealing their money. I am not gonna pay a $3 delivery charge and pay a $ 3 tip.

i'm a musician turned truck driver and i think it's people in general that don't understand what it's like working for tips. I tip on average 50% at restaurants and always give a pizza guy a $5. I had to turn to trucking cuz it's so hard to make a living when working for tips. People who've never worked for tips don't realize that minimum wage is a lot less for servers and such. Sorry for the cheapos bro i'd write down the names of the drivers who stiff ya completly and give them something extra next time they order if ya know what i mean lol

People can tell when you got a bad attitude. What about your appearance? Do you look like you fell out of a boxcar? Are you chewing gum and popping it? Do you smell like weed? Maybe you got to clean up your act, then you'll be getting big tips and driving a Corvette

I am showered clean, and I wear clean clothes every shift, I keep my car clean, the car is a rather rough looking car but hey what can you do for 500 bucks? I do not smell like weed, I don't do drugs and only drink maybe twice a week. As for another line of work, I am a Honda certified tech. But no one is hiring right now
