People talk about tax deductions like they are full reimbursement . Far from it. If you have a $200 expense and you are in the 15 % bracket you just pay $30 less tax.

I don't mind forking out $15-20 to pay for my HME background check. Personally I see it like this, if I pay for what I need on my own before I apply to a company so they don't have to then that shows that I'm committed and companies like it when they don't have to fork out for stuff youshould get on your own.. As far as tje bpttom feeder comment goes, you have to start somewhere and that somewhere is usually the bottom.

It's so cheap because the TWIC background is comparable to the HME background check and I'm a Deleware resident which is one of 8 states that get an extra discount.. We're also one of the first states to start the change to the new federally accepted drivers licenses.
