    Mark, THANK YOU! As soon as I switched out of 3D mode the scale was there. Thanks again. Now just to be sure, this won't work with the auto zoom/auto scale turned on right? Everything must be off?

    So I can have the auto zoom turned on AND the scale will work too? I like to be zoomed out when I'm far from my drop, but I also like it to zoom in as I get closer.

    3d mode will not show the scale. Sorry I should have caught this earlier.

    Thanks Mark. May I have it set to "Heading up" auto zoom on AND see the scale ? I'm still learning all the different levels of auto zoom.

    If on the road the files may take longer than on a home network due to the service area you are in.

    Try to wait till you get home and try it again.

    To Mark,
    Just purchased/updated to Lifetime maps, installed it (using dock) with apparent success. Now have 2 problems; a serious error message when starting TND510. "Navi.exe... cannot start main navigation engine! Please try again." Dock no longer working; hangs. Uninstalling dock and got a re-install from Rand site. Restarted computer. No success. Have a backup on sim card but spent 89$ on new maps that can't be used currently. Please assist. Thanks.

    Dock fails to install again? What does it say when it fails?

    Did you turn the 510 off and then back on again?

    Connect the 510 to the computer, close the Dock

    Open up and E-mail and find the attachment button. Look for the TND as an external drive. Then look under Navi/logs and send me the most recent file.

    Mark,

    Is there something wrong with the dock server? when I try to open the dock software it just hangs on the screen that the dock is initializing and will start in a few seconds, which it sits on for several minutes, then it brings me to the registration page. I have been registered for a long time now. Even though if I re-submit the registration it just hangs. I am trying to get the map update and I am not having any luck tonight.
