I'm planning on getting a 34 at the Pilot in Breaux Bridge, LA. I will be there tomorrow afternoon...deliver in Port Arthur, TX on Tuesday am.

 

I missed quite a few weekends at home my first 6 months, not because I was slow securing/tarping, or stopped alot..... thats just the way it worked out.

any issues should be addressed with your FM immediately, or it'll never change.

OTR trucking sucks sometimes, it is what it is.

Anyone know if we get Tuesday drops for labor day Monday? I know we did for memorial day.

 

I think I screwed up.. Its been about two weeks and now I'm really missing the road lol.. Wonder if there's any part of the bridge left unburned behind me?

What i didn't do right, was give my two weeks...unfortunately. I had a long stressful week (a good week though at 3100 miles and 3 tarp jobs), and some personal things going on at home. So when I arrived at the consignee friday, i sent a message to my fm and asked if they would please take the preplan off me, and that i needed to get home, and was going to turn my truck in at Madison. So when i got empty, i headed home. (personal vehicle was at Madison) I turned my truck in at the Madison yard. Washed it, cleaned it out, turned the keys into the shop. Transflo'd my paperwork in. Called after hours to inform them where the truck and keys were... And that was that. Maverick actually paid me 203 dead head miles to get to Madison. I really didn't expect that.
