Just my .02. We are a team so Wedge is a much better source for solo info. USX has been great to us. The things that matter, like home time, have never been a problem at all. We have been on time or early home with only one exception (12 hours later than we put in for) We take home time all over the country. Like SheepDog, we are on the reefer board and we are also getting very tired of the sitting and mis-communication. Our Fleet Manager experience has been 180 degrees different than his however until they changed our FM a few months ago. Our daytime FM is a nice guy who sucks at follow through and communication. For that reason alone we are planning on going back to dry van and our old, awesome, FM. Seems kind of silly really since the miles are great but in trucking you live with the job 24/7 so little things can become big things pretty quickly. Miles are good, freight is solid, pay is good and equipment is the newest in the industry. The other thing that makes us love the company is that we have always been treated with caring and respect by every department including fuel, breakdown, permits and safety.

I was wondering why all of a sudden I went from being in the NE to being in the SE. My FM quit and, boom, I was TX bound! Don't get me wrong, I would much rather be in the SE than the NE!!!!!! I was loving it. Now I just have to get the rotator cuff issue healed so I can get back out on the road. I head to the Dr. here in VA on Wednesday to see if I'm able to start driving again. I'm getting ansty to get back on the road. I had heard everyone say once you get a taste of the life, you don't want to do anything else and thought, "yeah, okay.", but it is the truth. Kind of like getting a tattoo. Once you get one, you want more.
My new FM seems to be a lot better than my old one. I was getting a bit frustrated because for 2 weeks, I had no regular FM and was getting the run around. Once Janice stepped in, she worked with me to get the pay I was owed for breakdown and layover. And she was getting me decent miles. So, hopefully when I get back, it'll all be good. I just hope I get a decent truck. -
Still confused what with some positive and some negative comments. Communications issues with FM'S a big concern! Gonna wait for more input before I decide!

Hello There Buck-A-Roos.
Greetings from the mile high city. I love coming out here, but this is the first time I've been here without the snow.
I ran my 70 into the ground. As predicted, the rest of this run is up to the team that will re-power the load. I tried to find parking at Sapp Bros. in Denver (USX set that as a repower location....dream on), then the TA..........nothing.
I don't like to be near big cities when I'm low on hours and need to park. Both of those TSs were packed and the grills were out in force. Nice to see folks having fun, celebrating the holiday.
I started to back track east on I70, first to the Flying J at exit 285.........packed. Continued to exit 295 The Tomahawk TS (sounds cool ......didn't see any tomahawks for sale inside........Too bad, I would have bought one).
Plenty of room..............aaahhhhhhh. Shut down with 30 minutes on the clock. This place has more parking than the TA and Flying J combined. It's not much to look at, but it's got all the essentials.
I'm comfy. It's like being at your aunts house......except no M&Ms in the candy dish.
Trips and Stats.
OK. I ran 652 miles yesterday, 606 today. Repower is set for 0900 tomorrow, and then it's back east for me (that is an assumption). Truck is due for a B-PM so I'll see where I'm headed when I leave here. Most times my loads out of this area have been beer or furniture. I'll let you know.
I reckon it's time to eat.
Thanks for reading.
