hey libra112 dont give up the reason i said that is because i passed mine the first time but let it expire. then i thought i would just take it again and failed hence the studying comment. but if you are studuing hard you will get it

 

Some hints for multiple choice tests.
1) Make sure you understand what the question is asking. I found that often the question would be reversed from what you will see on the practice tests. Since you've studied so much, maybe you are reading the questions and answers too fast and missing what they are really asking.
2) Once you understand that, eliminate the obviously incorrect answers. Again, be careful as the wording may be switched from what you are used to seeing. Then pick the right answer.
3) Skip any questions that you aren't sure of. Better to have them come back up after you have passed.
4) Don't try to read too much into the question. Just answer what they are asking.

Hey libra I had a guy in my class who couldn't pass his took him six tries on each section before he got it my advice was to him when you read your book answer the questions at the end of each section, writing the answer helps a lot and make sure u read the question before answering i know when I took mine I almost failed my combination because I read the question to fast. Take your time and you'll get it

I passed the writen test 1st time! At the time I had no Clue about this site! SO I went to CristCdl.com to do my test! started off at a 50% after 3 4 weeks I was makeing 100 on every thing so I went the DMV had no probs! Drivers test! 1st time I took the County Road Depts Mack with a 53 foot walkin floor. Im all im gonna say the truck did not pass the Pre Trip! LOL 2et time I rented a truck for 200 300$$ just a Small pup truck with a 40 foot FlatBed, Had no problem there Other then I think the guy I rented the truck from and the DMV had some type of deal worked out!

Now I do have a prob with paper work/test! I know what to put down I just can't make to go to my hand to the paper, NOW if Im on a Pc i have no problems! THANK GOD MY CDL Writen test was on a PC or I would not of passed!

 

Hi, I saw your post and wanted to let you know that it took me 3 tries to pass it , also.

You are very much not alone. I have a college degree, but have not done any type of studying in 25 years, so I was really out of the loop..LOL

I was taking the tests on their computer where I wasnt able to go back and look at answers and I hated having to see if I passed or failed each question.

It took me 2 times and passed the Air Brakes and General knowledge, then when I went to my DMV here in Michigan, I decided to ask them if there were other "options" in the way of taking the tests.

They told me I could take it either by Hard copy, True or False, or by wearing earphones..!

I took it by hard copy and missed only 1.

I dont know if this helps any, but I just wanted to let you know that you are Definitely not alone.

Keep on studying,you'll ace it.You have all weekend to study.DMV does have a cdl booklet that has everything in there you need to know to pass the test.You do have that don't you? Alot of people don't ace it the first time.It took me 3 tries.

 

lol at your highlighter comment.You can even find those very same test the DMV has right here online.Just type in CDL prep test under the google search engine.

 

I used these to test my knowledge after studying the DMV hand book, they helped a lot. Hope these help.
