Is that a comment or a complaint? -
it just be the truth.
i have a little road pro fridge that i keep running 24/7, and that generally seems to tip it on.
even when i run the HVAC on low fan, low cool, it still turns it several times. but mostly i've been with students lately who couldn't sleep without ice cold air. now that i'm alone for a while i just roll the windows down and leave the auto start off.
i'm curious about the batteries. seems to me that if the batteries were top notch, then the unit wouldn't activate. i've got 100,000 on these in my 2012, and one year. maybe it's time. -
OK, so I've heard a lot of "Yes! Roehl is a great company to start with!" but I've not heard a lot of "It's a great company to stay with" and that's what the husband and I are looking for. We're not interested in company hopping-- we're too old for that, lol. Granted, company's 'go under' and things happen, so that's always something to keep in mind, but how many people have started with Rhoel (I keep wanting to spell it the way it's annunciated, lol) and stayed with them long term?

I have been with the company for almost six years and I'm happy.
Roehl is very structured and very strict in their rule's
If you can pick up and deliver loads on time and follow their fuel route then no problem.
I've done the stay out for weeks at a time thing , I've done regional , and currently doing hometime fleet.
I get my load assignment and do my job, roehl does not hold my hand and never has.
The benifits are good the pay is average ,compared to other otr company's.
If you read a lot of these threads the drivers that leave want more freedom or less hand holding.
In other words no fuel routing , as for myself I see the fuel routing as a benifit to me.
Is the fuel routing perfect ? NO ! I either make a adjustment or if needed call routing.
Roehl is by no means perfect, but they are a good fit for me. Just my two cents.sly1, tablefor7, skyviper73 and 3 others Thank this. -
I just started with Roehl still in orientation and I love the company The process has been good they have they own way of doing things the Roehl way and if you can't conform to it they don't like it. If you want a safety oriented company that's Roehl safety is out cornerstone value and they stand behind that a 110% they care about the safety record and that people are safe driver because we're driven to protect others. But because Roehl fits me doesnt mean they fit you talk to them do your research and find out if the do
