I have no other choice but CRST because they are the only company that will hire me out of my area. Ive applied with most training companies and only CRST gave me a call back. I applied with - Cr England, Driver Solutions, Swift, Prime, Schneider, CRST, and Stevens. But not one of them called back but CRST. I called CR England and the recruiter told me they dont hire at all in Florida. The only way they could help me is if I can find a relative in Georgia I would use their address but when Im coming back they would send me to Georgia not my area so I would pay my own to get home and that will take less time for my hometime anyway. Driver Solutions never gave me a call. I called Swift they told me they hire in FL but not in the southern part of Florida. Prime told me the same thing but they dont go lower than St. Petersburg. Never heard from Schneider but I dont think they even hire in FL because most companies dont. CRST gave me a call and told me they would place me in a school. Stevens never heard from them either. Ive read so many negative things about CRST that I dont even want to go with them. Their pay is really low .22cpm and over the road drivers do team not solo so thats another reason I would hate to go with CRST. Can any CRST driver tell me the what I can expect at this company and some information about their school and their instructors?

Just cause they hire out of your area, doesn't mean they will have freight to get you home. Go with your gut, if it don't feel right...run away.

You don't even have your license. Are you required to go to a school, for a license? If not, work for a farmer and learn to drive. Get your license, old school, while you get paid. You missed out on harvest. CRST can teach you how to drive. They won't pay much. You'll #####, the whole time. A farmer would pay you better and teach you more. GO with CRST, you'll learn little and pay greatly. What else you want?
