I could have sworn I was Shaffer national fleet, but apparently I'm Pennsylvania regional. if I moved to Allentown I could be home every other night.

Anyone experienced something like this and know what it is? I have a 2010 Prostar and after I shut down, usually about 6+ hours later (usually the middle of the night) there is a momentary lurch/jolt about every 5 minutes. At first I thought another truck had hit me, but there was absolutely nothing going on around me. Does it have something to do with the air bags?
On a separate note, I've had two Prostars and each one builds air up to 125, then quickly drops down to about 105 and stays. The shop told me it is normal and has something to do with the air dryer. But how will I pass one of those CVSA inspections because isn't that an excessive loss? -
My Prostar doesn't lose air. I've got a 2010 with a Cummins My truck does make an awful noise every now and then when the blower isn't on. I have to turn on the HVAC system to make it stop.
Ralph4159 Thanks this. -
Well now. Guess who I saw today at a shipper in Texarkana? Our very own SuperSnackBar! He's AWOL from here because his phone died. I've been away dealing with a whole slew of non trucking related stuff plus payingoff my truck, breaking down 5 times since Labor Day to the tune of $4,000...(largely because Freightliner of Chattanooga fixed something, then had to go back and fix it again, then I got down the road a week and had to get towed to another dealer to fix the fixing). I'm also gone to "another carrier" by the end of the month. New carrier pays percentage. Have fun y'all!

Best of luck RedBeard, you heading over to the big blue star?

Good luck with that. I may be leaving as well, due to medical issues.

Well I made it home Oct. 1st. They routed me 186 miles OOR to get me to Dallas and my medicine. One thing I will try not to do; stay out 6 weeks! I know that dispatch is trying to make changes and I hope they help. I know everybody would love things to go more smoothly.
You know when I was with my trainer I thought how nice it would be for every dispatcher to be required to go out with a trainer for a couple of weeks at least just to get a clue what we go through. I am sure every new dispatcher that gets an ear full wishes the driver was sitting in their chair from time to time.
