I have a TND 710. I tried to update it. But now when I turn it on the 710 on it starts to load then small blue box pops up says map data not transferred completely re connect and reload .well when I try that dock says maps up to date so I have no way to get them to reload.

I have used the repair function on the dock, but to no avail.
I have also tried to reset it by pressing that button as well.

Please. What must I do here.

    Thank you for your time.

    A.

    Are you computer savvy?

Also what is the serial number off the back of the 710?

    Thanks,
    mark

Had to make it myself, a list of terminals and drop yards.

The traffic receiver adds additional downward weight on both the power cord connection that goes into the traffic receiver and at the side of the GPS itself. Using some form of "strain relief" (i.e. wrapping the cord around the neck of the mount, velcro, etc) will relieve the up ad down shaking all day at the side of the GPS. Usually the looseness will begin where it plugs into the side of the GPS though and I would start there. plugfix.jpg

    Hi Mark,

When I start creating a trip if I need to adjust the route to take certain roads I'll add a via. Now technically there are two segments. I can use route display options to verify that it is taking the roads I want but it only displays up to the first stop (via). How do I check the roads for the second leg? No matter what view I use it doesn't display all the roads for the whole route and I cannot zoom in on the summary map view.

Is there a way to display the whole trip so if I need to add another via I can?

At this time you cannot see past Leg 1 for route details.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Small suggestion for what it is worth- move traffic from the radio receiver to the wireless end- like RM did with the weather.

Items like this do go into the planning stages, but for one reason or another they go a certain route. This is due to licensing fees/cost factors.

    Thanks,
