How long you have been in business?

Heck anything out to Florida better be paying...I have'nt seen any spot rates to Florida in awhile; seeing how the customer I work for is mainly contract rates mostly. I would imagine though the rates are hovering around $2.30/better..Van/reefer. Though I'm only guessing; like I said havent seen any rates off ITS or any other lately..
Oh but yes; plants and fern's should be kicking off here real soon. I don't mess with too much Florida; lately. -

Now back to New Jersey. Drivers look at us like we got all the money tied up for outbound NJ. That is so not the case! Heck, by the time we contact the shipper for an arrangement, it's already been doubled out by the shipper to someone else. Then were like "hey what happened"??
My Uncle say's it's the mob still operating off the East Coast-LOL! -
I hate to continue the TQL tirade but I'm so mad I could spit. This is the third strike with them and I'm done.
I called on a load they had posted. Negotiated a mediocre rate (it's Texas so it wasn't great but good enough). Since I have been burnt before I waited for the rate confirmation to come via e-mail because the broker I talked to would not give me any info on the load until I signed the rate confirmation and sent it back. I got the rate confirmation about 30 minutes later (he forgot to send it) and immediately signed, scanned and returned. I asked for the pickup information via e-mail. Well lo and behold, another broker snatched that load right out from under this guy while he was waiting on me to send the rate confirmation back.
I can't prove it, but I'd bet a large sum of money that in the 45 minutes it took between me negotiating the rate with them and the load being "stolen" by another TQL broker that they found a cheaper truck. This is the third load I've had mysteriously not happen with these guys and got paid once out of the three times for truck ordered not used. I absolutely will not do business with these snakes anymore. I told the broker that I thought it was bad business that once we had agreed on the load that they kept shopping for a carrier. I would never do that to a broker or customer.
I didn't haul much for them anyway because I don't like the way they do business but this is the final straw. Beware the dirty dealing brokers at TQL.
The only saving grace to this whole saga is that I'm at home and getting ready to BBQ and pop a couple cold one's and try and enjoy and unscheduled weekend off.KB3MMX Thanks this.
