I had one when I first started. I honestly didn't know what I hit. I just noticed the trailer flat and when I went back the rim was dented. Called Road repair and they told me to call safety. I did hit that little pole trying to get on a flying J scale once and it bent rim. Company never reported it though.
Bad DAC report....who will hire you ?

Yeah, too fuzzy here on the drivers exact record details, whether this occurred over a period of what yrs.,...etc..
From what reading,I'd definitely see what can do to get these details re clarified, hiring an attorney might be just the trick.
You know these safety dept's often do not verify properly the incidents in a way that would stand up under court inspection.
Even truck abandonment is subject more to an individual companies interpretation, he said she said etc..which again could disappear under threat of legal review
7yrs tops on using and or retaining collected info on your file through DAC, though this agency in the past has been reluctant to erase anything, instead there is a disclaimer noting that anything past these yrs cannot be used for reporting purposes. A dispute in writing is what they require to physically pull off record, as under the FCRA act
The rest of any info on DAC and related must be covered somewheres on these forums, probably find some one in similar questioning circumstances that has posted previous -
Still a blowout as an accident is BS......
I would sure be contacting your previous employer and ask them why that was an accident and it is preventing you from getting hired anywhere else.
Mention you have an Attorney and could pursue for slander!
I always thought DAC was BS and any company can ruin your future by listing anything they want on it.
Fight it!fight it! fight it!
I know an ex-Walmart driver who had an accident on his for bending a rim getting into a Walmart parking lot....Geeze! -
I had a bad DAC, but I cleaned it up. If anyone puts false information, such as truck abandonment or an accident, on your DAC, it is easy to prove you didn't do it. Just get in contact with Quaalcom. Quaalcom is a GPS system and, by law, they are required to keep your Quaalcom records for a period of 6 years. The Quaalcom records will prove where you left your truck. Quaalcom tracks every 5 feet of movement that you made with your truck. If the company claims that you had an accident, the Quaalcom will show the amount of time that you spent at the so-called offending stop. My previous company falsely claimed that I had an accident. The Quaalcom showed that I was at that stop for only 20 minutes-not enough time for police action or anything except for leaving a load. The police also had no record of an accident. The company cleaned up my DAC and paid me a settlement. The ffending parties who falsified my DAC were fired. Nice, huh? Quaalcom can be your best friend in that truck. It's the perfect witness. The Maryland state police tipped me off about the wonders of Quaalcom.
