Getting ready to leave as soon as my wife get's back from the dentist. I have to load in Clewiston before 1pm. I don't know where it's going, Jason just now called and told me he was sending the info to my truck. Be safe and God Bless.
I'm here getting loaded. The load goes to Rochester NY, I'm only taking it to Pittston for tomorrow night.Last edited: Oct 22, 2012

Working on my 4th run in a row with the same run from Lancaster, PA to Gardena, CA. i guess u could say I'm becoming dedicated on this run, can't complain to much it gets me home and gives me nice miles. Also this time I only have 7000 lbs on the trailer, but I guess its still worth it for the company.
Hey Johnboy- OKC Thunder #1 -
Knowing that a full trailer of what I was hauling would be close to legal gross, I asked the shipping guy where there was a scale I could weigh at before I crossed the DOT ones in VA. He laughed out loud and said I wouldn't need one. I'll bet the load weighed no more than 1,500 lbs. -
Home time again. Got home last night at 6pm. Fought the wind and rain from about Daytona all the way to the house. My wife said she wanted to go with me this morning so at 4:45 I woke her up and was at the truck at 5:45 this morning. In the pouring rain and wind from the storm off the coast I got both drops off by 9am. Now it's home till Monday morning, then I get to chase this storm up the coast Monday and Tuesday. They are calling for heavy snow up 81 Tuesday. I was told by dispatch it should be real bad in PA. This will be my concern this winter with this time sensitive run I'm on, the weather. We'll see how it plays out as we travel on. I'll call into dispatch later today to see what I'm loading on Monday.

My forecast here on the west coast of PA has changed daily, yesterday was calling for snow Mon-Tue., now it's just a rain event. After having lived here over a year, I'm just as skeptical of the weather guys up here as I was in Florida, if they say it's going to rain, I expect snow, if they say snow I expect shorts and sunny weather
jrotra, JohnBoy and The Challenger Thank this. -
Nice to see your hanging in there. Be safe.

Still kicking, hoping to be out of here by the first of the year. How's Inverness lately, I bet the lakes on 44 are up nicely with all that rain you got this summer.

John, these states and areas are currently under a State of Emergency: NY, PA, MD, DC, VA and eastern NC. It's possible that by the time you come back out on the road, the ones in NC may have expired, but from VA on north, it's going to be a wild few days next week, and those states of emergencies will likely still be in effect. You may have some trouble getting to your destinations up here.
JohnBoy Thanks this. -
How much a mile did they start you at ???
