OH WHAT A CRAZY, SILLY, REDICULOUS, FRUSTRATING, BORING, AND YET SOMEWHAT NICE WEEK I HAD!

I REALLY cannot elaborate on some of the week too much, but lets just say that I found myself down at the Rock this week for a few days. I never never never get out to NLR in my dedicated route.
However, this week, I did. And after a week that I would really like to just forget about and move on to hopefully a record number of loads and miles this coming week.

All that said that really says about nothing..... SARGE! THANKS FOR THE SPONTANEOUS REFRESHER COURSE IN SKIDDED COIL SECUREMENT!!! LOL

It was great getting to hang out with you for a couple of days.

    sarge26044 Thanks this.

On the way back down 51st street there was one group chasing one of another group. The fight almost was in front of me. When they picked up a bicycle to hit him with it, I layed on the air horn and that scared them and they took off....Glad they did because I would have had to get out of the truck.
Not going to watch someone get killed by a group and just stand by.

It appears that the weather indeed is going to be challenging for those of us who find themselves out in the eastern states this week. Everyone please be careful!

Yessssireeee...and I'll admit it in front of God and evreryone here, I'm not cut out to be a flat bedder. But I've done it and I know I could do it again if I had to. It only adds to my resume as a driver. Plus as exerienced as you guys are, if we were both at the same yard or truck stop and you needed help, I could and would.

    sewerman and sarge26044 Thank this.

Alot like us going to the Gary yard whereas the Madison yard is a mixed bag.

I was in North Carolina yesterday, hoping to meet Sandy but she stood me up. I didn't run into rain until I got on 77 north of 81. I have 3 drops around the south side of Cleveland tomorrow then load donuts in Lake City PA Tuesday morning. That load takes me home. It has a drop in New Albany MS Thursday afternoon then final in Clarksvillle AR Friday night. Then I'm going home for 3 days.

Congrats Terry...By now you're being introduced into the Maverick culture to prepare you for drinking the Kool Aid..LOL!!

Good luck out there Jim. I have to tell you its not sounding good. I have been watching CNN for the last hour and it sounds like NJ is in the crosshairs. The Philly Airport is shutting down, Laguardia is closed, as is the NYC Subway system. I am not sure where that town is, but it sounds like there will be very few people journeying out tomorrow.
