I certainly do. Been driving the Pro Star for the last 12 month. Lots of pluses, but also negatives. Actually, the biggest downside is not the powerplant, but the extremely stupid "On Guard". Who knows how absurd this is going to be????

Well, I am home for a bit. Made multiple request for home time so I can be home on election day. But, they got me home on Thursday...Which means I stay home an extra half a day, vote, then leave out afterwards. After I got done in Birmingham, finally, I got a load out of Hartselle, AL going to Carrollton, GA. for the same day delivery. But, because the Birmingham customer took their good sweet time to unload me, I wasn't going to make the delivery by the time the instructions said the Carrollton customer closed. But I tried as hard as I could to get there close...Walked in the back door, and wandered around. There were people there assembling wire spools on the other side of the building behind some netting...but no one on the receiving dock. I was there around 10-15 minutes wandering around looking for someone to sign for the load since it was a drop/hook...but I couldn't find anyone. So, I headed for the Loves at exit 9 in western GA for the night. It turns out, I should have wandered for a few more minutes, because the receiver stepped outside for a moment, only to see the tail end of my trailer going around the corner of the building on the way out. It turns out that they really needed the spools on my trailer for wire headed to the damage area from Superstorm Sandy, but I didn't find out this info until the next morning. Enroute to deliver by 8am eastern (7 am central) I get a preplan. Pick up in Atlanta, deliver in Jacksonville at 3am. But...they waited until it was too late for me to get into Atlanta, get the load, fuel, travel and get a break in before 3 am. And I had to spell it out quite simply language in order for Lincoln to understand why...as in "didn't we learn to tell time in grade school??". So, their fly-by-the-seat-of-the-pants planning system screwed them...and I didn't hesitate to bring that to their attention. The load had a pickup date from the 27th to the 31st...it was ready last Saturday...why did they wait until Wednesday to offer it?? I will never figure that out...but I guess they'll never figure out that letting us know things in advance actually helps the entire company, not just us.

And now I get the joy of the last few days before election day...When will they outlaw robo-calls!!!!!

I don't think I got in 8,000 miles last month. And the 230 mile, 22 hour load they offered didn't go over to well this morning. At least they pulled a productive load out of their rear end??.

Hey SSB, Take a hammer with you to vote, we don't need any hanging shads this year

we stopped using the punch card method. We use the SAT/ACT coloring book method now(like the transflow sheets). I got writers cramp coloring in all the little dots. Since we're Gods waiting room east, I can't believe they haven't come up with a more 'elderly friendly' method that is easier on us old folks to do without stopping and taking a circulation reviving break.

You know, after the shad incident, Indiana went to the LCD push button computer thing. It's real easy.

I been running hard since my little blow up Thursday. I got 500 some miles to run on Sunday and then 4 extra stops Monday, ending in Lakewood, NJ near the coast. At least I'm on paper logs, so I can cut my drive time short between stops.
