Roehl Driver Check In

In Corfu NY heading to Cincinnati OH for Friday delivery. Have all day tomorrow so stopped for food and shower.

 

In Chicago at con picked up today in Mankato was suppose to del in the am but marg said they need it today so I said ill try lol 8.5 hrs trip and only 9 on my 14 I barely squeaked by but hey I got a good job in it lol.

Got a pre plan going to Ohio maybe close to home I home my new cooler should be coming any day now

FJ Rapid City, SD. Deliver 0700 tomorrow. Then will have 7 hrs left on my 70.

 

Well I'm at a TA. I dealt with nothing but traffic all day. Today was rough... So I called it. Waking up early to drive 4 hours to deliver this load. Which I can't wait to unload, it's been one from hell..

Hopefully I will get a decent load afterwards.


Also at this TA I ordered Baked Ziti. Which was not so good.. Won't order it ever again.

 

Alright I'll check in. Left Minot ND yesterday shutting down in Bloomington IL for the night deliver in Mattoon in the morning.

 

Actually I just got the truck. They had it for about 4 1/2 hrs. They went ahead and did the alternator pm also. I was talking to one of the mechanocs and he said they have cut down on the work coming because they only have one side of the shop to work on tractors now. Maybe that is why I got in and out. I already sent a message to night dispatch telling them to make me available at 0700.

 

Night dispatch: alright, you'll show available for 1500.

Just a quick intro. Last few years I was driving local, wanted to get back OTR so came to Roehl and started first week of September, been good so far. I've been on this site for awhile but finally figuring out this smartphone.

 

He's in Perrysburg OH for the night with a 2 stop load of ceiling tile headed for the DC area.
